Rotary Airlock Valves
Whether you need heavy duty construction for constant operation, a compact design for low-pressure applications, or an economical and rugged cast iron housing for efficient operation, rotary airlock valves from Imperial Systems minimize employee exposure to dust.
Whether you need heavy duty construction for constant operation, a compact design for low-pressure applications, or an economical and rugged cast iron housing for efficient operation, rotary airlock valves from Imperial Systems minimize employee exposure to dust.
Our rotary airlocks have been designed with service in mind. No special tooling is required to replace wear parts, minimizing downtime.
Rotary Airlock Valves for Your Dust Collector Applications
Heavy Duty Rotary Airlocks
Imperial Systems, Inc. Heavy Duty (HD) rotary airlock valves are engineered to outlast all other rotary airlocks for dust collectors. The unit offers the tightest flexible seal, allowing larger particles to easily pass through the valve while maintaining the air seal. Utilizing an Imperial Systems, Inc. HD airlock on a dust collection system allows for constant operation without the need to shut down and empty containers, minimizing employee exposure to dust and makes the system less susceptible to material back-up and filter damage.

Imperial Systems Flexible Tip Airlocks meets and exceeds the following criteria from FM Global:
“Concerning the need for a flexible vane tip in addition to a close tolerant metal tip vanes for rotary airlock valves my answer is as follows: The criteria for the vane tips are it must be at least 3-ply of rubber with fiberglass reinforcement between the plies of rubber and ⅜ in. thick.” -FM Global
Low Profile Rotary Airlocks
Low Profile (LP) airlocks feature a compact design and are a less expensive alternative to our HD airlocks. The unit offers the tightest flexible seal to ensure minimal, if any, air leakage. It is used in low-pressure applications, such as on the bottom of a dust collector and for handling dry, free flowing, non-abrasive materials. It minimizes employee exposure to dust and makes the system less susceptible to material back-up and filter damage
