Service Technician
This is a family-owned manufacturing business in Mercer County. Imperial Systems is known industry-wide for its innovative products and over the last several years has been experiencing rapid growth. The Service Technician is a self-motivated individual responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and start-up of Imperial Systems Air Pollution Control equipment.

Sales Engineer
This role is available in two locations: Dallas Metro, Texas, and the Piedmont Triad, North Carolina.
Duties
- Work directly with the Territory Manager to maintain current business relations (Call/email/Travel/Trade shows)
- Work directly with Territory Manager to grow Sales by prospecting for new business (Call/email/Travel/ Trade Shows)
- Support all Reps/Dealers in the territory (Call/email/Travel/Training)
- Duct work/System Design
- Project fulfillment – from Quoting process through shipping
- Site visits to gather job-specific information
- Work with Vendors to find the best possible options for buyout items
- Research and understand a multitude of codes, standards, and regulations including applicable NFPA, OSHA, ACGIH regulations
- Equipment sizing and proper application
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Sales background with a willingness to travel
- Industrial equipment sales is a plus
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- Basic tool skills, ability to read and use digital and analog measuring devices and hand tools.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings.
- AutoCAD experience (to create drawings) is a plus.
- Ability to interact comfortably with a variety of individuals in various, sometimes stressful, situations.
- Desire to climb the corporate ladder through willingness to put in extra effort
- Ability to present a sales presentation to a large audience or an intimate audience setting
Sales Estimator
Duties
- Work direct with the territorial sales managers and the Imperial Sales Representative network by establishing reliable cost estimates for fabrications and system work from concept designs through final installation.
- Use Imperial Systems Software program to generate sales quotations for review and submission by the sales engineers.
- Work Closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Shop Fabrication, Field Supervisors, and Imperial Systems Administration to create an accurate sale price including raw materials, fabrication labor, field labor, and miscellaneous installation expenses.
- Interface directly with equipment and material vendors to solicit pricing as required for a project.
- Interface directly with customers to obtain needed information if directed to do so by the sales engineer.
- Logical thought process or ability to “step through” a project and recognized all cost centers of a fabrication or system.
- Interpret and understand mechanical drawings related to a system of fabrication.
- Travel to Jobsites for field measurements or to assist the sales engineer to achieve needed information to complete an estimate. This may include attending bid meetings when required and possible overnight stays.
- Attend trade shows or educational programs as required by Imperial Systems management of immediate supervisor.

- Basic understanding of metals and metal fabrication processes.
- Basic Understanding of system ventilation and design.
- Basic tool skills, ability to read and use digital and analog measuring devices and hand tools.

- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs and/or Affinity programs
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable capturing content in a manufacturing environment
